Kathleen is an entrepreneur living in the Pacific Northwest after 31 years in Los Angeles, California. She has been in the creative industry her whole life. She uses her extensive knowledge in graphic design, fine art, interior & exterior design, real estate, and education to help people and companies change the way they look at things and solve problems every day.

 

She is currently the owner and founder of Deviaxion Creative Solutions, and co-owner of Maverix Insights, Strategy & Design. She has been a Professor of Graphic Design at Otis College of Art & Design for the last 25 years. She is the former VP, Research Operations (Ops & Finance, Info & Data Systems, Design Solutions) at Warner Bros. Discovery.

She graduated cum laude from Pratt Institute with a BFA in Communication Design, and has been fortunate to work for some forward-thinking Companies such as Warner Bros., HarperCollins Publishers, Marvel Entertainment, and New World Entertainment.

She is a mother of 2 amazing children.

MY BIGGEST HONORS
In 2015, I received what I believe to be the best honor: I was inducted into my high school Hall of Fame. To have my teachers and fellow classmates nominate me for this prestigious award is truly the best honor.  As a thank you for this honor, I started a Scholarship for one graduating senior from my High School Class. To qualify, they need to create a Facebook page showing where they’d like to be over the next 10 years.
